We established The Woodlands Camera Club in 2006 to meet the needs of amateur photographers from our area who simply wanted to improve their skills in photography. To our pleasant surprise, this photography club has attracted photographers of every level.
The meetings consist of a brief "business" session, followed by a 30- to 45-minute presentation by a guest speaker, and conclude with a "Share & Learn" session where club members can share their photographs and interests with one another. These meetings are designed to be an entertaining learning experience.
We have Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that focus on learning camera equipment, mastering composition (the fine art of seeing), and post-processing techniques on the computer. Additionally, we offer pop-up activities, workshops, volunteer photographer opportunities, and mentorships, all aimed at helping club members forge great friendships through the enjoyment of photography events.
We provide a variety of newsletters covering our photography club's monthly meetings, special interest groups (SIGs), and other photography events in The Woodlands that might be of interest. Please click on the link below to sign up.
